This is my second purchase from Joycat, and I will be buying more. These games are just so thoughtfully put together and high quality. The foam letters here are the right size for small hands and come in a variety of colors and are both capitalized and lowercase. I really like the small markers and eraser, too. The case is really nice and makes for easy storage. I like that they label the letters so it's easier to put things back.A friend of ours has the same thing, and it's withstood a lot of use.

I've been teaching Pre-K/Kindergarten for close to 20 years, so I've used quite a few literacy tools, including sets similar to this one. Of sets similar to this, I feel that the JoyCat set is the most engaging for young learners. The colors are vibrant and there are a generous number of consonants and vowels - both uppercase and lowercase. I also appreciate the addition of punctuation magnets - other sets I've had similar to this one did not include punctuation. This set seems to be well-made and I look forward to using it with my students throughout the upcoming school year...and beyond!

This set showed up in the cutest carrying box and I'm still not able to get over that. It's perfectly sized and is a dream for clean-up and storage. The magnets themselves are bright, soft, and have a strong hold. One of our kids is learning to read and building her vocabulary is growing, so we've left the letters out, next to the board and will randomly ask her to spell things words she hears in music or from the TV. Our older child has also started playing with them, crafting messages on the refrigerator to tell me what we're out of.When these have run their course in our home, this would be a perfect item to donate to one of the teachers at our school. In fact, with school starting back, this is a great item to gift to any classroom!

As a Kindergarten Prep teacher, I really like this word-spelling kit. There are plenty of magnetic letters to make words, 2 sets of uppercase letters and 7 sets of lowercase letters, including 2 sets of question marks and exclamation marks. The dry-erase board is double-sided. What I really like that this whole set goes in a plastic case. Furthermore, the letters are labled inside the case. The letters are made of foam with a magnetic backing. These foam letters are flexible and they bend easily. I was just hoping for hard, solid letters that don't bend. Some children chew or bite on foam pieces and that leaves bite marks. Overall, I recommend this product.
