My daycare kids love this game, mainly my own son and won’t leave me alone about playing. I should have purchased the bigger size option. I’m pretty sure they are using memory for placement and not memory for what letter it starts with.

Beware for other products that claim to be this one. The toys in this one are larger and better made. Except for the icecream cone, it doesn’t stay together. My 3 year old granddaughter absolutely loves this. It’s a little advanced but she wants to learn.

I LOVE this !! I purchased this for my two year old daughter as a Christmas present . It’s a good size . The pieces could be played with separately from the puzzle of coarse .. she knows her abc and can point out each letter as well as the sound each letter makes so this will be great to help with her reading and spelling even more !! Super educational and fun ontop of that !! Definitely worth the price !

This Alphabet Mystery Box is a great way for young children to learn and reinforce letter and sound recognition. A parent will need to be sure that all the objects are properly identified in order for it to work. Or maybe at first be flexible and accept all possible answers as long as the child can justify the object placement. Is it an alligator (A) or a crocodile (C)? Is it a bunny (B) or a rabbit (R)? Etc. As a former 1st grade teacher I can see how the the learning opportunities abound but would caution to take it slow and keep the learning fun. I would have loved to of had this as part of a learning center when I was teaching!
